Mailbox Monday ~ July 22nd
Welcome to Mailbox Monday, created by Marcia of To Be Continued, a place where readers share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week.
After several years of being on tour with different blogs as the monthly host, the Mailbox Monday Blog is now the permanent home for the meme.
Another busy week ahead, but first up is getting a new phone, which is really more like a handheld computer, but we keep calling it a phone. I even read books on it. So I suppose I will spend this week learning how to work the new one since I’m sure everything has been moved and functions have change. I love technology, but sometimes I hate it too.
And a few new books . . .
New Arrivals
Conversations with Trees: An Intimate Ecology by Stephanie Kaza.
From a pioneering thinker in the field of religion and ecology, a collection of evocative meditations on the beauty, fragility, and resilience of trees. Included are twenty-seven original lithographs of the trees profiled in each chapter.
Wild Calm: Finding Mindfulness in Forest Bathing by Joan Vorderbruggen.
Decades of research reveal the physical, emotional, and mental health benefits derived from spending reflective time in nature.
The Psychology of Time Travel by Kate Mascarenhas.
In 1967, four female scientists worked together to build the world’s first time machine. But just as they are about to debut their creation, one of them suffers a breakdown, putting the whole project—and future of time travel—in jeopardy.

What an interesting mix! Good luck with then new phone. I read on mine when I’m away from home and without another way to read. It’s doable.
