It’s September, and that means it’s time for one of my favorite reading events, R.eaders I.mbibing P.eril, hosted by Stainless Steel Droppings.

The event runs from September 1st through October 31st. There are two simple goals for R.eaders I.mbibing P.eril VII

1. Have fun reading.
2. Share that fun with others.

Reading categories to choose from are: Mystery, Suspense, Thriller, Dark Fantasy, Gothic, Horror, and Supernatural.

  4. I love the RIP time of the year! I do need to make time for Sarah Waters. I haven’t read any of her work yet!

I’m happy to see that you are participating in both group reads. I started The Little Stranger yesterday and have gotten about 100 pages in and am really enjoying it. Nice slow build up that promises creepiness to come. And I just adore The Graveyard Book. Thanks for taking part in #7!!!

So far after one disc of The Little Stranger it’s fairly pleasant, but I’m sure the creepiness is coming! The Graveyard Book has been on my to-read list for ages. This is a good excuse to finally read, or in my case listen to it.
