This was one of those accidental captures. I was on the prairie monitoring birds and doing a point count, and this little goldfinch was sitting on a coneflower watching me. There are not a lot of people out in the middle of the prairie off the beaten path, so I suppose she was curious. I thought she deserved a photo; I didn’t expect it to come out this good!
