Mailbox Monday ~ July 2nd
Welcome to Mailbox Monday, created by Marcia of To Be Continued, a place where readers share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week.
After several years of being on tour with different blogs as the monthly host, the Mailbox Monday Blog is now the permanent home for the meme.
Another heat wave arrived this weekend making it difficult to stay outdoors for more than short periods of time. I’m not complaining … well, sort of. I love summer but not 100 plus degrees!
New Arrivals
The Clockmaker’s Daughter by Kate Morton from Atria.
A rich, spellbinding new novel from the author of The Lake House—the story of a love affair and a mysterious murder that cast their shadow across generations, set in England from the 1860’s until the present day.
November Road by Lou Berney from William Morrow.
Set against the assassination of JFK, a poignant and evocative crime novel that centers on a desperate cat-and-mouse chase across 1960s America—a story of unexpected connections, daring possibilities, and the hope of second chances from the Edgar Award-winning author of The Long and Faraway Gone.

The Morton book seems to be the “it book” in the mailboxes this week. I hope you love it!

November Road was at book club speed dating at Book Expo – it sounds really good. I don’t like the humidity that comes with summer.
