Wordless Wednesday: Lake Ellyn

Almost wordless: A view of the boathouse from the far side of the lake. I was at the art fair in the park and decided to go for a walk around the lake while I was waiting for a few friends to show up.

    It’s a beautiful shot.

    Context is everything. My first thought, after two weeks of flooding from Harvey and its aftermath, was that this was a photo from my area.

    It will take me a while to become able again to see this as a peaceful sight.
