We added two females to the cage with our male cockatiel and they began to constantly lay eggs. None of them was ever fertilized. I think our male thought he was a human.

Oh that’s kind of sad for them.

I let them sit on the eggs for a few weeks so their hormone levels will go down. Otherwise, if I remove the eggs, they will keep laying them and get calcium depleted. They do this a couple of times a year. Some females never do it.
