Mailbox Monday ~ March 14th

SpringBirdsFenceMailbox-smlWelcome to Mailbox Monday, created by Marcia of To Be Continued, a place where readers share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week.

After several years of being on tour with different blogs as the monthly host, the Mailbox Monday Blog is now the permanent home for the meme.

Nothing in my physical mailbox last week, although I did receive a few audio downloads . . .

Audio Downloads

ThursdaysChildrenNeverOpenDiner-Audio

Thursday’s Children by Nicci French from Penguin Audio.
The electrifying fourth book in the internationally bestselling Frieda Klein Mystery series. Frieda faces her most personal case yet when a former classmate appears at Frieda’s door, begging for her help.

The Never-Open Desert Diner by James Anderson from Random House Audio.
A singularly compelling debut novel, about a desert where people go to escape their past, and a truck driver who finds himself at risk when he falls in love with a mysterious woman.

Both of these look very good…Thursday’s Children IS very good, I can attest, as I loved it. If that counts. LOL.

Enjoy! Thanks for sharing, and here are

That counts! I read the first three in the series – Frieda is a great character.

The books sound so different. It’ll be hard to decide which one to listen to first.

I agree that Thursday’s Children was very good. Read it last year and loved it.

I was waiting for the audio – and it took a year for it to come to the US!

I tried one Nicci French book quite a few years ago and couldn’t get through it. Was it just my mood at the time? Possibly. Have you read her? And do you like her?

Nicci French is a husband/wife writing team. I’ve only read their Frieda Klein books. This is the 4th one in the series and yes, I liked them a lot. Frieda is an interesting character.
