Wordless Wednesday: Green Heron

Green Heron

Almost wordless: On a bird watching outing a few weeks ago, about twenty of us were watching this heron for five or ten minutes—he or she remained still as a statue. That’s how they sneak up on their dinner.

How thoughtful – standing still so long so you can all get such great shots 🙂

    Leslie–
I doubt it would matter–you seem to be a naturally gifted photographer. But I have to ask: what camera are you using to take these remarkable photos?

Thanks. It’s a Canon Rebel XSi, also know as a 450D and I use a 250mm zoom lens. It’s an older model but I have been very happy with its performance. Someday I will move up to a professional model with the big lens!
