Mailbox Monday ~ January 5th

WinterBirdsMailbox-smlWelcome to Mailbox Monday, created by Marcia of To Be Continued, a place where readers share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week.

After several years of being on tour with different blogs as the monthly host, the Mailbox Monday Blog is now the permanent home for the meme.

Just one book in my mailbox to start out the new year.

We’re melting down here…so badly that staying at work in the air con is preferable! Did get some books read though. Enjoy your reads!

I read this book ~2 years ago. It was absolutely fascinating! There are plenty of little facts that stuck with me that I pull out at parties and share with people. The folks who suddenly have somewhere else to be are obviously boring. Those who stay are obviously biologists!

Although I never worked in the field, I majored in biology in college and have retained an interest in the sciences. I too love to toss out interesting little factoids!

Thanks! Without my garden in the winter I’ve tried to get creative with the indoor plants.
