Mailbox Monday ~ November 24th

AutumnChickadeeMailbox-smlWelcome to Mailbox Monday, created by Marcia of To Be Continued, a place where readers share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week.

After several years of being on tour with different blogs as the monthly host, the Mailbox Monday Blog is now the permanent home for the meme.

Here’s what arrived last week.

New Arrivals

Revival by Stephen King from Simon & Schuster Audio.
A dark and electrifying novel about addiction, fanaticism, and what might exist on the other side of life.

The Jaguar’s Children by John Vaillant from Houghton Mifflin.
A gripping survival story of a young man trapped, perhaps fatally, during a border crossing.

How was your week?

This is the second post today I saw featuring THE REVIVAL. I have to admit, however, I have never read anything by Stephen King and am not currently planning to. I’m afraid they’ll be too dark for me! That said, the description of this ones does look interesting, and I look forward to seeing your thoughts.

Both of those sound like good fall reads. Enjoy!

I listened to a podcast recently that mentioned the King book – I hope you enjoy it!

I actually have enjoyed some of King’s later books (11/22/63), and from the reviews I’ve read about The Revival, I might like it. Hope you do, and enjoy both of your books.

Revival on audio would be fantastic! Happy reading and Happy Thanksgiving

They both sound intense. Stephen King and I don’t work together. 🙂 I have The Jaguar’s Children.

    Have a great reading week.

I hope you enjoy your reading and listening this week, Leslie! Both of these sound intense (you may need a comfy, cozy read after them).
