Almost wordless: My maple tree several weeks ago in the evening light before the Halloween Day storm blew all the leaves away. Now winter has made an early arrival.

    Beautiful! I’m not ready to say goodbye to fall! Winter is expected to make its first appearance in my neighborhood next week. Oh well.

    We actually woke up to a dusting of snow on November 1st but have had gorgeous weather since then. That will all change come Friday.
