Wordless Wednesday: Lounging In The Sunshine
Almost wordless: Despite the cold – it was well below freezing – I saw quite a few critters and birds out enjoying the sunshine yesterday. Two Fox Squirrels were lounging in a tree while their buddy dug in the snow below for some food.

It’s encouraging to see the sunshine. Unfortunately it’s snowing again today. Winter isn’t done with us yet.

yes, the squirrels have been out and about in the sunshine. Lots of birds, too.

Lots of birds were singing too. The cardinal has been singing for a week and yesterday I heard the goldfinches chattering away.

I don’t blame them! The sun’s not out here but at least it’s above freezing.

There is still so much so snow on the ground here that it’s staying cold even with all the sunshine. And now it’s snowing again today!

We have quite a few squirrels here, and I made the mistake of feeding them all winter. Now they’re so demanding that they come to the porch, and one actually climbed up the screen door to look in the window!

Same here! They come up on the deck and look in the window of the patio doors for the lady with the food.
