    That’s one of the best shots of a heron flying I’ve ever seen!!

      Thanks! I was watching these birds come and go for an hour or so. I got this shot when the bird decided to circle around to where I was standing and then swooped straight up to the nest.

    That is a great picture of the heron in flight. We have them in the valley here and my man saw one the other day….umm…lightening his load as it were. Definitely wear a hat.
