Wordless Wednesday: Fish-Hook Cactus
Almost wordless: Photo taken in July a few years ago. The cactus is currently hibernating in the laundry room. Once it gets warm I move it outside and it blooms all summer long.

Cactus flowers… just beautiful. So the secret is the hibernation in the laundry room? 😉

I’m not sure if that contributes or not! Although I suppose being dormant helps. It only flowers when outdoors in full sun. Now why some years are more bloomy than others, I don’t know. The plant sits in the same place every summer on my deck which faces south.
