When the petals open it will look like a daisy but with a large green cone in the center. I bought this plant at the farmer’s market last year for my perennial garden. I thought it would only grow about 4 to 5 feet tall and rise to the top of the deck. Well, it’s 6½ feet tall now, has branched off into multiple sections, is drought resistant and appears to be still growing. And the goldfinches like to sit in it. I need more flowers like this, only shorter!
