Musing Monday

Musing Monday is a weekly meme hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading. This week’s musing is: What book tops your TBR (to be read) pile right now? Is it something you own, or something you have to borrow, or something you’ll be purchasing? Why do you want to read it so badly?

Top of my pile is an ARC of Antiphon by Ken Scholes. This is book three of The Psalms Of Isaak, a scifi fantasy series. I can’t start it until I finish book two, which should happen today or tomorrow. Book discussions with the author begin this week over at the Barnes and Noble forums and I don’t want to miss out on any of it.

Any Science Fiction / Fantasy readers out there, this is truly an excellent series of which I was unaware until I read about them on the forums. I will be doing a review soon.

    I am looking forward to reading: The Blind Contessa’s New Machine By Carey Wallace

    Why? Because the summary says that it talks about how the typewriter was made for the Contessa who was losing her site, and since I am a business teacher and do teach keyboarding, I think it will be pretty interesting. 🙂
