Wordless Wednesday: Bluebird of Happiness
Almost wordless: I’ve been seeing a lot of Bluebirds this past week. This little guy seemed happy that spring weather is almost here. And that makes me happy too.

SO sweet. I never see these around here for some reason. Don’t they like New England?

Yes, they do. This is an Eastern Bluebird and they range across the eastern US and SE Canada. They don’t come to feeders and rarely visit backyards. They prefer meadows and open country. And golf courses too. This guy was near the marsh in an open field.

Perfect picture!
We get a lot of blue jays here. I set out unsalted peanuts for them. The sight of them always makes me happy.
