Wordless Wednesday: Beginning To Thaw

Vegetable Garden Birdbath

Almost wordless: Saturday the sun came out, melting the ice in the veggie garden birdbath. The frozen plants are broccoli.

Glorious photo! Do you really grow you own broccoli?! Right now, you have frozen broccoli.

Yes I do! I also grow tomatoes, cucumbers, green beans, lettuce, zucchini, acorn squash, peppers and an assortment of herbs. I left the broccoli up as ground cover and shelter for the wildlife.

I love your birdbath and the signs of thawing. Our bird bath is still frozen! Lol. I’m so envious of you being able to grow broccoli. It’s one of my favourites!
