Cute Little Gadget for Audiobook Listening
Almost Wordless Wednesday
While doing my holiday shopping online I came across this cute little portable speaker for my mp3 player. While I wouldn’t recommend it for music, it’s perfect for listening to downloaded audiobooks when I don’t want to use earbuds. Also, I’ve discovered my bird, Charley, enjoys listening to audiobooks with me.

She likes jazz too! When I would use the headphones though she would start chirping. Then I realized she was hearing silence while I was listening to a book.

Very cute! But amazingly: we have the same MP3 player. Mine is red but otherwise looks identical.

I love this mp3 player. I got it this summer to replace an older one that died (I suppose dropping it didn’t help).

That’s cool! I used to have that MP3 player before I somehow managed to kill it. My current MP3 player has built-in speakers, but they aren’t very loud. Someday I’d like to get something to plug it into that would amplify the sound (and also be portable). That looks like it would be perfect.

This speaker isn’t real loud, it’s just enough for one room and perfect for my needs. I had an older Sansa player that I loved but I dropped it one time too many and that killed it.
