Bloggiesta Begins Today
Bloggiesta is a three-day blogging party devoted to working on perfecting your blog and connecting with others bloggers doing the same thing. If you aren’t already familiar with Bloggiesta, hop over to It’s All About Books and There’s a Book, our hosts for the fiesta.
I’m not going to be as ambitious as I was during the last Bloggiesta. I’ll be out most of the day on Saturday and won’t have as much time to devote to it but I do want to participate in a few of the activities.
I’m pretty happy with the look and feel of my blog so I won’t be making any artistic changes but there is a little behind the scenes housekeeping that I need to catch up on and some posts and reviews I’d like to write. I’ll also be taking part in a few mini-challenges as there is always something new to learn.
To-do List:
• Housekeeping:
Clean up google reader Save this for another day!

• Review About, Disclosure and Policies pages and update.
• Create a page for Giveaway Info and Rules.
• Participate in several Mini Challenges:
How to Use Evernote
• Attend a twitter party. Missed the Friday party, not home for the Sat & Sun parties. 😦
• Visit other blogs and offer encouragement.

I am going to have to check out the RSS feed on mine, too; didn’t think of it, since I thought it was only a problem on the Blogger sites. I prefer e-mail subscriptions….

For your blogs hosted at wordpress they provide a decent feed. I added feedburner because it gave me more info and stats about subscribers.

I dont know how much I will get done with a very busy weekend ahead and a full day today but I will participate – even if I am up at midnight doing it 🙂

I’m glad the mini-challenges will remain up, since I’ll be referring back to those in the coming weeks. Didn’t get around to finishing everything I wanted, since my list is always growing, but had a fun, productive weekend. Hope you did, too!
