Wordless Wednesday: Snow Bird
This little Junco walked right up to my back door. He seems happy to be digging in the snow for seeds!

Very cute shot. I feel so sorry for all the outdoor creatures this terrible winter. The squirrels came out for birdseed this weekend.

Great picture! The contrasting between the dark bird and the white snow plays a bit of trick on the eyes because it almost appears like a black and white photo – the beak and the legs give it the extra splash of color even though it’s a pale color. Really love this picture – I’m sure many an ornithologist would enjoy this one!

Oh I love this little junko! You keep dazzling me with your photographs, Leslie. And I am so grateful for it. What a spot of sunshine for me on such dreary day here. XOX

I love your bird photos and I’m amazed the snow doesn’t bother him.
