Wordless Wednesday: Milkweed

Almost wordless: I love the way the milkweed looks when it goes to seed. I didn’t notice the baby milk weed bugs until I edited the photo; they are to the left of momma bug.

      I had lots of Monarchs, but I never did find any caterpillars this year. I did find some small holes in the leaves, so I know they were there.

    Terrific photo! I grow “butterfly plants” and am delighted when I find caterpillars on them. They start out tiny and munch away until they get big. 🙂
