I read The Intern’s Handbook, the previous book in the series, and it was a surprise hit for me. It was clever, quirky, and entertaining. I’m looking forward to more of the fun in Hostile Takeover.

I wasn’t drawn to the cover either. But because I had read and enjoyed the author’s first book I was interested in learning more about it.

Haha! I like the intro. I can tell this will be a clever read. The beginning of a love story is quite special. I’m not sure I agree with his views on the middle, but I can see how it might seem that way, depending on the story. Why does this bring to mind that one movie? Oh what’s it called? Mr. and Mrs. Smith, I think.

If I hadn’t read and enjoyed the author’s first book I probably wouldn’t have looked twice at the cover. The first book was a lot of fun and a nice change of pace from what I usually choose to read.
