Wordless Wednesday: Monarch Caterpillar

Monarch Caterpillar

Almost wordless: In mid-July I began to notice Monarch Butterflies in my wildflower garden. A few days ago I spotted a Monarch Caterpillar on the Milkweed.

I wonder how long it takes for them to change. Beautiful caterpillar.

A nice reminder of things we take for granted. And a beautiful shot. Cheers.

Yay! What a cutie! Another fabulous photo. You may see a chrysalis or two before too long.

Caterpillar Update: I just went out and checked on the little guy and he has doubled in size and has devoured at least 4 leaves, maybe more. And he has a sibling, another tiny caterpillar appeared.
