Wordless Wednesday: Only 28 Days Until Spring
Almost wordless: I’ve had enough of the colorless world of winter. No snowy pictures this week, I need green. This photo was taken last year at Cantigny Park in early May.

Ha! Love it. I, however, embraced the winter. Can’t wait to see green again.

It was the additional 6 inches a few days ago that put me over the snow tolerance limit. I’m now dreaming of green!

Snow is very beautiful. I can imagine that one can have too much of it. Too much of anything, I suppose.

It was above freezing yesterday and will be today too. Let the melting begin and hopefully no flooding.

Yes! I’ve noticed that too. The Chickadees have been dee-dee-dee-ing and the Nuthatch was noisy too. The Cardinal usually starts singing around Valentine’s Day but so far he’s only chipping.

It does seem endless. I haven’t been through this bad a winter since 1979.

I stayed overnight in San Juan for one extra day after a cruise but sadly didn’t have time for any bird watching. I did however get to tour the Bacardi factory, which was quite an experience.
