Wordless Wednesday: At the Beginning of Winter
Almost wordless: This was taken late December along the East Branch of the DuPage River before we got hit with multiple large snowfalls. It was shot in color on an overcast day shortly before winter officially began.

Nice! The weather has been so awful, I haven’t been out with my camera much.

I haven’t been able to walk along the river since the day I took that picture. The paths are treacherous now, and that’s if you can get to them. No one shovels the forest preserves! I’m starting to go a little stir-crazy!

The little bit of snow we had last week was enough to last me for years.

A month ago it was pretty. Now I’m sick of it. We got another 6 inches last night and it’s still coming down.

The snow before the snow. Beautiful photo, Leslie. I hope you get some warmer weather soon, of course.
