Mailbox Monday ~ January 27th

Cardinal MailboxWelcome to Mailbox Monday, created by Marcia of To Be Continued, a place where readers share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week.

After several years of being on tour with different blogs as the monthly host, the Mailbox Monday Blog is now the permanent home for the meme.

Last week I received a couple of audiobook CDs and a few audio downloads.

I want to read I Shall Be Near to You. I’m a Civil War buff. Actually, one of the books I received last week is on the Reconstruction era. I don’t have enough audio books, but I would really like to change that.

Just finished an ARC for Harlan Coben’s latest, Missing You. It’s due in stores on March 18. I’ve read all of his adult novels (he has 2 YA), and this is one of his best. Highly recommended.
I’m now 135 pages into Songs of Will Frost by Jamie Ford, author of the outstanding Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. This one is excellent too. He’s just a flat-out good author.
