Two interesting books!
Talking about birds, we found 3 dead blackbirds after returning from holiday. One in our back garden, on in front and one at the neighbours. I guess birds die, too. But this is the first time I find them in our garden!

Occasionally one will fly into a window and I’ll find it lying on the ground. Sometimes I find a pile of feathers… I don’t want to know what happened there, probably a cat as hawks and owls just carry them off. But yeah, they die too.

I flipped through it before I bought it and it looks like a great resource. It’s a beginners guide with lots of photos and good info in plain language so I bought a second copy to give away after I review it.
